Research Consultant
Alison is passionate about the ocean and lives by the sea in Falmouth, Cornwall. She brings a wealth of experience to Common Seas from the waste and resources sector, where she focussed on data, honing research methods and evaluating projects for impact. She sees her statistical and analytical work as contributing to the wider fight for evidence-based policy change in favour of nature. Recent projects have included working on food surplus for the University of Exeter’s Business School and developing the methodology and analysis for Greenpeace and Everyday Plastic’s collaboration, The Big Plastic Count. She’s at home designing methodologies, assessing complex projects and understanding how to best present this work to influence change.
